Don Vernon Profitt, born on October 29, 1956, departed from this life on April 6, 2025. A loving husband, father, son, and brother.
Throughout his life, Vernon cherished music and singing, which were not just hobbies but passions that enriched his daily existence. His love for music often brought joy to those around him, as he would share his enthusiasm through song, creating memorable moments for family and friends alike.
Professionally, Vernon enjoyed a fulfilling career as a truck driver before retiring. His work allowed him to experience the open road, and he carried with him stories and adventures from his travels, which he shared fondly with his family.
Visitation: will begin on Wednesday, April 09, 2025 from 10:00 AM – until time of services at Spann Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 09, 2025 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Profitt officiating.
Interment: will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
