Don Trocano

Donald (Don) Edward Trocano, born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 26, 1938, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Louise Trocano, his mother, Francis Trocano, and father, Guy Trocano. Survived by his son, Michael (Zulema) Trocano, of Lawrenceville, GA, daughter, Vicki (Jeff) Young, of Griffin, GA, brothers, Phillip (June) Trocano, of Greensboro, NC, and Tom (Patty) Trocano, of Wilmington, NC, grandchildren, Robert Patterson, Jennifer (Chad) Stewart, Carmen (David) Hayes, and Olivia Trocano, great grandchildren, Hunter Patterson, Analia Patterson, and Preston Ward. Don served in the United States Army and National Guard for 5 years. He worked for International Harvester and in 1967, was transferred to Atlanta, GA. After 16 years with International Harvester, Don took a job with MARTA in 1978, where he worked for 21 years. Don and Shirley lived in Jonesboro, GA, for 55 years until Shirley's passing and then Don moved to Suwanee, GA, closer to family. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel & Gardens, 3481 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm.
