Don Eugene Wallace, age 76, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away on October 23, 2025.

Born and raised in Hammond, Missouri, Don lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a steady, quiet kind of love for the people around him.

Don was an Army veteran and later spent many years working at GE. Outside of work, he was happiest outdoors - riding horses, tending to his farm and livestock, hunting, and fishing - and he carried himself with the calm confidence of someone who understood the land and the rhythm of rural life. He was both a father and a brother in the truest sense of those words: dependable, steady, and always there when needed.

Don was preceded in death by his wife of 41years, Wanda Eugenia Wallace and his parents Louie Wallace and Eula Martin Wallace.

He is survived by his daughters, Bridget and Ashley Wallace; his grandchildren Jaden, Ashya, and Jackson; his brother Dr. Charles L. Wallace, DVM; Brenda Waters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He leaves behind a legacy of family, good stories, and countless quiet moments on the farm and in the woods and fields he loved.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 29th at 2:00 PM with visitation at 1:00 PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, Missouri. Don will be laid to rest next to his wife at Rhodes Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeal Home, Gainesville, MO.
