Funeral services for Martin Luther Pearson, 64, of Theodosia, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville. Officiating will be Dale Schofield. Visitation will be Tuesday from Noon to service time.

Martin passed away October 22, 2025 at his home in Theodosia. He was born February 6, 1961 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Luther and Pauline (Elting) Pearson. Martin was known among friends and family to have a "big heart" and he loved to laugh and have fun. He would help anyone that asked.

His survivors include his brother, Robert Pearson and wife, Nancy; his sisters: Wanda Harris, Bulah Lawson and Hazel Wilson; along with several nieces and nephews. He was especially fond of his cousins, Jim Elting and Suzy Elting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Pauline (Elting) Pearson; one sister, Shirley Harris; one brother, Billie Joe Harris; and one nephew, Daniel Pearson; two brothers-in-law, Bob Lawson and Frank Harris; and several uncles and aunts.

Burial will be in the Isabella Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Isabella Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
