Donald "Don" Wallenberg, 82, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, in Winfield Il, surrounded by his family. Born on October 30, 1942, Don worked as a plumber within the City of Chicago and suburbs, retiring after 50 years of service as a Local 130 Union Member. Don was an avid fisherman, and outdoorsman. A devoted family man and loving husband of Kathy Wallenberg (nee Callas), father to Dawn (Danny) Pavlopoulos, Michael, Michelle (Erik) Derby, grandfather to Christian (Alyssa) Petrino, Gianni and Dion Pavlopoulos, brother to late Patricia Wallenberg, Kenneth (Dana) and uncle to Adam (Michelle), Amy (James) Carr, Andrew (Jeni), Alicia (Nick) Fleming, Fond brother-in-law of George (Jane) Callas and William Callas. Preceded in death by his parents Walter & Agnes (nee Mosier), and his sister Patricia. Don left a lasting impact on everyone that was a part of his life.
