Dona Mitchell Hall

Dona Mitchell Hall, 70, of Elizabethtown passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She was born in Bladen County on February 2, 1954, the daughter of the late Julius Daniel Mitchell and Elneeda Doris Clemmens.

 She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gary Glenn Hall Sr., her parents, one daughter Jeannie Sue McLemore, and siblings John Mitchell, Jean Rackley, Ada Grant, David Mitchell, and infant brothers Julius Clyde and Alford Mitchell. Survivors include sons, Gary Glenn Hall II (Tori Hall) of White Lake, NC, David Hall of Fayetteville, NC,  siblings Tony Mitchell of Carthage, NC,  Roger Dale Mitchell (Diane) of Carthage, NC Jimmy Mitchell (Doris) of Dallas, TX, Barbara Seiber of Mabank, TX and Betty Mitchell of Chadbourn, NC, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

 Dona was devoted to God and her family. She enjoyed attending church when she was able and lived by her strong faith in the Lord. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and time spent with them as well as her children were the highlight of any day. She had a love of flowers, especially tulips and country music. Her family and friends will dearly miss her.

 The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown from 2-2:45 pm followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm with the Reverend Roger Dale Mitchell officiating. A burial will follow the services in the Cashwell Cemetery in Bladenboro.
