She was surrounded by her family, including her daughters, Katherine McEwen and her husband Don McEwen, Heather McLean, her brother Paul Yurasha and his wife Mary, her 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Phaneuf.
Dona was born in Worcester, MA and spent her life in Auburn MA, graduating from Auburn High School and Quinsigamond Community College. Dona became an RN, working in the Worcester hospitals. She cared deeply for others.
Dona enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She brought joy to all who knew her.
Funeral and burial arrangements will be held privately. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Scleroderma Research Foundation/SRF/Research for a Cure. www.srfcure.org/donate
