Funeral services for Mrs. Donaciana “Donna” Cruz, 89, of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 5, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Alvin Rosenow officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cruz was a member of the Hispanic Emanuel Baptist Church in Monroe. She worked as a custodian for over 20 years at Ridgedale Academy.
Mrs. Cruz was preceded in death by her husband, Eufemio “Eugene” Cruz; parents, Juan and Consuelo Guerrero; and three brothers, Frank Guerreo, Israel Guerrero, and Johnny Guerrero.
Survivors include her children, John P. Cruz and wife Patsy, Andrew Cruz, David Cruz, Norma Carter and husband Reggie, and Juanita Prudencio and husband Walter; grandchildren, Jennifer Cruz, Jason Barnes, Bradley Carter, Christina Pylant, Caleb Pylant, Zachary Prudencio, Valery Prudencio, and Shelby Terral and husband Bailey; great grandchildren, Kieran Cruz Barnes, Lily Shaw Carter, Addison Pylant, Jett Pylant and Josie Beth Terral; and sister, Magdalena Martinez and husband Gorgonio.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Carter, Caleb Pylant, Zachary Prudencio, Andy Cruz, Johnny Martinez, and Bailey Terral.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Los servicios fúnebres de la Sra. Donaciana "Donna" Cruz, de 89 años, de Farmerville, LA, se llevarán a cabo a las 10:00 a.m. el viernes 5 de septiembre de 2025 en la capilla de Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe con el reverendo Alvin Rosenow oficiando. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Mulhearn Memorial Park. El velorio se llevará a cabo de 5:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. el jueves 4 de septiembre de 2025 en la funeraria.
La Sra. Cruz era miembro de la Iglesia Bautista Hispana Emanuel en Monroe. Trabajó como conserje durante más de 20 años en Ridgedale Academy.
