ARNOLD, DONALD L., of Rochester, NY died suddenly on October 2, 2025, just short of his 101st birthday.
He was the son of Lewis and Irene Thomas Arnold and brother to Grace Peters, Marjorie Needham, Elizabeth Arnold, and Evelyn Matthews, all of whom preceded him in death. He was an alumnus of Monroe High School and Rochester Institute of Technology. Following service in the European Theater of Operations during World War II, he was married to Ruth Quinn who, in 2016, preceded him in death after nearly 71 years of marriage.
He is survived by three children: Suzanne Till (Ronald) of Churchville, NY, Stephen Arnold (Martha) of Honeoye Falls, NY, and David Arnold (David McDaniel) of Louisville, KY; five grandchildren and one step-grandchild, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A private burial was held at Mountain View Cemetery, Mesa AZ.
