Donald Barnabee Obituary
Don was a proud Veteran, serving in Vietnam. The loving son of the late William and the late Marie (nee Rossbach) Barnabee.
Beloved brother of Juanita, Joyce, Michael; uncle and cousin to many.
Preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, William, Robert, Raymond, and Lawrence.
Don was a quiet man with an enormous heart and could be quick with a joke. He enjoyed old westerns on television and loved classic cars. Whether it be his hobby of building them or his love of having driven them. Don enjoyed baseball, either playing as a youngster or watching the Chicago Cubs on tv. His devotion to family and friends was unmatched. He will be missed by all.
Funeral services for Don will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Interment with full military honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the American Cancer Society in his name.
