Donald Chester Belinski

Donald "Chester" Belinski, age 84, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, formerly of Stalwart, Michigan, died on March 16, 2023, at Hearthside Assisted Living in Sault Ste. Marie. He was born November 5, 1938, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Joseph and Josephine (Gawel) Belinski.
Don lived most of his life in Stalwart where he worked on the family farm and was the caregiver for his mother for many years. He moved to Hearthside ten years ago because of his own declining health and became a favorite of the staff and other residents there.
Don was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Goetzville.
Don loved following Tiger baseball and would watch or listen to the games as well as read the statistics in the newspaper.
Don is survived by his brothers, Teddy (Virginia) Belinski of Belleville, Michigan, Art (Michele) Belinski of Stalwart, and Walter (Suzanne) Belinski of Au Gres and Stalwart, Michigan; nephew, Robert (Tami) Belinski; and niece, Rebecca (Tom) Horan.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Pauline Belinski; and brothers, Jim Belinski and Richard Belinski.
Viaitation will be helod on April 29, 2023, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, from 9:30 AM till 1030 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM.
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery next to the church.
