Rosary, 6pm, Tuesday, December 10 and Funeral Mass, 11am, Wednesday, December 11, BOTH at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Clonmel.
Preceded in death by wife, Gloria (Batemon) Berntsen; parents, William and Ruby (Chapman) Berntsen; son, Donald "Wayne" Berntsen; brother, Charles Berntsen ll; son-in-laws, David Horsley and Jim Dixon.
Survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Berntsen of Clearwater; children, Barbara (Aaron) Ashel of Wichita, Matt (Jane) Berntsen, Brandy (Michelle) Berntsen both of Conway Springs, Robin Dixon of Moline, Lyle (Vickie) Berntsen, Bruce (Lisa) Berntsen both of Clearwater, Andrew (Jamie) Berntsen of Augusta; daughter-in-law, Tami Berntsen of Clearwater; 36 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren.
