Mr. Bestman and I shared a birthday, March 11. I remember calling him on my 10th birthday because I was so excited to be in the double digits! He was always so kind to me.
I also have great memories of camping at Lucky Lakes with the whole gang.
My sympathies to Mrs. Bestman and the family. God's peace.

So many great memories of the second most influential man in my life. We were next door neighbors, went to the same church and Wendy and Penny attended Zion Lutheran school together with us. We were together more than apart. I am very thankful that God placed him and his family with ours. RIP Don, you were one of the best. I miss you dearly.

Charlotte and family, So sorry for your loss. Don was a soft spoken, kind, person.
I have fond memories of a time, when you, Don, and my parents, George and Marguerite, were in a Lutheran couples club. My sister and I couldn´t have been more than six or seven. We went skating in Hannibal at the roller rink. You and Don helped my sister and I to skate, as our parents sat on the side line and watched! Special memories that we cherish!
