Donald E. Bicchieri

Donald E. Bicchieri, of Medford and Naples Florida, passed away peacefully with his loving daughter Susan by his side on Saturday, December 6th. He was 85. Born in Boston, he was the cherished son of the late Francesco and Veda (Libbi) Bicchieri. Donald proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Donald was a wonderful husband, father and papa. He had a gentle disposition and a heart full of love. Donald enjoyed Sunday dinners with his family and vacationing in Naples with his wife Diane every winter.

Donald was the beloved husband of 59 years to Diane (Donovan) Bicchieri. Devoted father of Susan Bicchieri and her partner Thomas Morris, and the late Nancy (Bicchieri) DeMarco and her surviving husband Louis and the late Janice Bicchieri and her surviving husband Robert Polito. He was the loving papa of Louis DeMarco and his partner Matthew, Lyndsey DeMarco and her partner Alex, and Joseph Rosato and his wife Kristen. He was the caring great papa to Bella Rosato. Dear brother of Rosie Leccec, Barbara Petrella, Peter Bicchieri and the late Frank Bicchieri and Annette Buccieri.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, December, 19th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, December 18th, from 4 to 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
