Donald Bigos Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home on Jan. 19, 2025.
Donald "Don" Raymond Bigos Age 69
Donald "Don" Raymond Bigos of Orland Hills, IL passed away on January 17, 2025 due to the devastating disease of vascular dementia. Don is survived by his loving and devoted wife Terri Bigos (nee Sosnowski) and daughters Nicole (Brad) Burian and Michelle (Scott) Luszczewski, brother Raymond (Sandie) Bigos, sister Patricia (Richard) Novesky, his late brother Richard (Theresa) Bigos and many nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in peace by his mother Stella and father Edward Bigos. Don and Terri shared many celebrations, memories, love, and tribulations during their 48 year marriage. Don and Terri built a life that included their baby dolls, Nicole and Michelle, whom Don was extremely fond and proud of. Don belonged to St. Elizabeth Seton Church and was an active member for many years. Don was an outgoing, friendly, hardworking and loyal family man. Don was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing football, baseball and hockey growing up then later in life being a spectator attending games and watching them on tv. There are no words to describe how much Don will be missed but his family knows he is no longer suffering from the devastation that dementia causes to a loved one. Now he's being welcomed to heaven by family and friends.
