Donald Boisvert Obituary

Donald Roger Boisvert, 83, of Allenstown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, August 29, 2025 after a period of declining health.

Born on October 28, 1941, in Concord, New Hampshire, Don was the son of Adelmor Boisvert and Ida (Fleury) Boisvert. He spent his entire life in the Allenstown area, where he attended local schools before embarking on a long and dedicated career as a concrete mason. For more than 50 years, Don worked in the industry, spending the last 35 years as a project manager for Associated Concrete Coatings in Manchester.

In 1963, Don married the love of his life, Frances McAllister. Together, they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage.

Don had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time at his home in northern New Hampshire. Above all, he treasured the time spent with family and friends. He was known for hosting the most outstanding "Garage Parties". Don enjoyed attending events for his grandchildren and teaching them how to fish and skate on the backyard pond. He especially loved his great-grandchildren, who never failed to bring a smile to his face.

Don was a Third Degree member of the Fr. Routhier Council #4666 Knights of Columbus for over 60 years. He served multiple terms on the Allenstown Sewer Commission and was a volunteer for the Caring Hearts Program with the New England Heart Institute.

He was predeceased by his father when he was just two years old, as well as by his mother and stepfather Aram Beauchesne, his brother George Boisvert, and his grandson, Danny Clifford.

Don is survived by his beloved wife Frances and their three daughters and their spouses: Julie (Chuck) Bilodeau of Westwood, NJ; Peg (Don) Clifford of Strafford; and Denise (Brian) Towle of Pittsfield. He also leaves behind five grandchildren: Becky (Kyle) Tillotson of Concord; Jillian (Joshua) Bretz of Nebraska; Allison (Matthew) Leibowitz of New Jersey; Doug (Heidi) Clifford of Chichester; and Chloe Bilodeau of New Jersey. Don was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Reid and Caleb Bretz, Melanie Tillotson, Dawson and Hudson Clifford, with Baby Girl Leibowitz on the way, his brother Ernest (Jan) Beauchesne of Allenstown, Sister In-laws Lillian Boisvert of CT, Sue (Fred) Place of Pembroke, Linda McAllister of Concord, Jeannie Hebert of Concord, many cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Granite VNA and the Granite VNA Hospice staff for the exceptional care provided. We would also like to extend a thank you to the Allenstown Rescue.

As requested, there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 11:30 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Earlier today

Uncle Don was a wonderful man, kind, hard working, loving and always put his family first. I have nothing but fond memories of him from childhood and in my adult years. I'm so happy my boys were able to know him and spend time with him. Uncle Don will truly be missed by all who knew him. I am am deeply sorry for my Aunt Fran and the rest of our family. I will be praying for God to bring peace and comfort to everyone who lost this great man.

To the Fran and family of my dear friend, Don,
Don was a very special person to me! He exercised at the CMC Wellness Center in the 6:45am class and I was the nurse. He used to coach me on my house repairs and I coached him on his cardiac issues. He raised $ for the Wellness Center/AHA Heart Walk each year and walked with our team. He bought my Christmas tree for years! He employed my son in the summers at Concrete Coatings. He was loved by his wife and daughters who gave him a retirement party and an 80th birthday party. He referred to me as his "little sister"! I loved our friendship and am saddened by his passing! May he rest in peace, love and joy with our Lord!
