Donald Bowling passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 87 in Detroit, Michigan. He was born on October 31, 1934 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Donald Sr. and the late Emma Bowling. Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Carrie Mae Bowling; loving children, Tammy (Dennis) Foster, Terry (Betty) Bowling, and Larry (Lisa) Bowling; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and Brother, Bill (Selda) Bowling. He is preceded in death by daughter, Trena Bowling, and his siblings.
Donald loved and served God faithfully. He was a proud Deacon of Fairhaven Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed cheering on his Kentucky Wildcats and Detroit Tigers. Donald was a jokester. He loved making people laugh with his jokes and stumping people with his riddles. His big heart and brain teasers with be deeply missed.

What a loss. A great man and a great christian with a great family. I love the Bowling family and have many wonderful memories from our days at Prayer Baptist Church. God bless Mrs. Carrie and all the family and love and prayers from the Rick Kirchinger family.
