Surrounded by love, on September 14, 2025, touched and seal was the lips of my beloved father, your grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. In the same token the Angels of Peace led him to higher grounds where he will be at rest with the Lord.

Donald born August 9, 1950, in Lott, Falls County, Texas, to Robert Brown and Dortha Ann Broadus, lived a life filled with faith, family, and dedication. He found renewed spiritual strength through his rededication to Christ under the guidance of Ennis Jefferson, Jr., a testament to his unwavering belief. His commitment to the Corsicana community is reflected in his years of service at Brentfield Elementary School, where he touched countless young lives.

He was a man of deep faith and unwavering love. His gentle spirit and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Brown and Dortha Ann Ballard (Broadus), and his brother, Lee V. Ballard.

He leaves behind a legacy of love that extends to his daughter, Alicia Irvine, his son-in-love Tyrone Irvine; four grandchildren: Kendrick Broadus, Sheneque Halfacre, Shuntae Broadus, and Arthur Broadus; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters; three brothers; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other cherished relatives and friends.

He is now at peace resting in the Lord's embrace. The memories we shared will forever be held close to our hearts.
