Don Bullen, Sr., 80, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 6:14 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Tri Star Skyline Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2022 at Restoration House Family Worship Center with Pastors Richard Dixon and Don Bullen, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. His family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the church. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Troy, New York, he was born July 2, 1942 the son of the late George Bullen and Dorothea Willsey Bullen. Don faithfully served his country in the United States Army. In his working years he was a plant manager at the Plymouth Tube Company and a maintenance supervisor at Western State Hospital. Don was also a long-time volunteer at Christian Way Farms.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Roberta "Bobbie" Mrazek Bullen.
Survivors include his wife: JoAnn Hall Bullen; his sons: Don (Michelle) Bullen, Jr. of Hopkinsville, KY, Dan (Amy) Bullen of Hopkinsville, KY, and Doug Bullen of Hopkinsville, KY; sister: Nancy Evelyn (Kenneth) Beers of Painted Post, NY., his grandchildren: Hannah, Sarah, Alison, Ella, Jack, Joshua, Matthew and Andrew; and one great grandchild, Daniel Wilbanks.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in honor of Don Bullen are suggested to the Hopkinsville Civitan Club or the Alpha Pregnancy Care Center.
