Mr. Donald Truett Cabe

Mr. Donald Truett Cabe, age 80, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his home. Born October 10, 1935 in Toccoa, he was a son of the late Luther and Rae Russell Cabe. He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Big A Supermarket. Family members include his sister, Wanda Cabe Kellar of Toccoa; grandson, Brandon Lee Presley of NC; granddaughters, Amber Nicole P. Sparks and Kelly Dawn P. Newman; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Genean Cabe Presley; and a sister, Carolyn Cabe Whitlock. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Blake Palmer, Holdan Kellar, Nathan Adams, Matt Turpin, Eddie Addison, and Keith Nichols. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Saturday, April 23, 2016. Flowers are optional. Those desiring may make memorials to the Gideon's. Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
