We were fortunate to become friends with Don and Fran back in the California when they were just starting their long life together. They kept their happy dispositions and adventurous spirit for more than a half-century, as shown in a photo we took of the young couple when our paths crossed in Germany in 1971. We know that Fran will cherish the many memories of her beloved Don. God bless the Carey Family.

Fran so sorry to hear about Don´s passing. He was a great guy, Buzz always enjoyed being together with Don. So many stories of flying and flying but the trips to Gold´s Dragoons were the most memorable. Fair winds and Clear sky´s Amigo

Condolences Fran and to your entire family. Don was the reason I went to boot camp at Parris Island; he was one of my heros.
