Donald (Donnie) Crownover, 84, of Comanche TX, passed from this life Sunday, December 2, 2025. Heartland Funeral and Cremations Service of Comanche is in charge of arrangements. The family will greet family and friends Friday the 5th of December from 6 pm - 8 pm at the funeral home. Donnie was born April 18, 1941, in Gorman TX, to Finis Crownover and Clemmie Reese Duke. He was married to Glenda Welch April 18, 1964, in Comanche TX. He worked for 10 years with Comanche County Rural Electric COOP and 20 years in construction & roofing. He was interested in fishing, football, loved spending time in the Outdoors and his shop. Donnie is survived by sons, Noah Crownover and wife Cindy, Johnny Crownover and wife Alice, all of Comanche; brothers, Finis Crownover of Comanche TX and Leland Crownover of Canyon Lake TX; grandchildren, Greg Crownover of Stephenville TX, Elizabeth Heflin of Comanche TX, Terry Crownover and wife Carissa of Comanche TX, Krystal Crownover of Gatesville TX, Angelica Crownover and husband Adam Foix of Garden City TX; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Glenda (Welch) Crownover; mother, Clemmie Duke and father Finis Crownovere; son, John Clifford Crownover; daughter-in-law Alice Crownover; great-grandson, Adam Ethan Foix.
