Jane Ann Crownover, was born in Geary, Oklahoma, on January 11, 1946, to Lorraine and Allen (A.R.) Smith. She completed her earthly journey and went to be with our Lord on March 11, 2026, passing peacefully at home.

Janie was proceeded in death by her parents AR and Lorraine Smith, brother Don Smith, grand daughter Jenna Burton and niece Shanna Smith Ross.

Janie is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Doyle Crownover, who she met while they both worked at American Pre-Cast, sister Sharon Wright, Mariann and her husband Randy Kornegay, son Jay Sims and wife Pamela, son Harl Sims and wife Connie, daughter Judy Burton, Daughter Angie and husband Johnny Johnson, daughter Shelly and husband Ron Stebens, Grandchildren, Caleb Burton, Jake Johnson and his wife Kathryn, Tel Johnson, Molly Johnson, Kace Johnson, Catch Johnson, Magan Sims, Madison and her husband Tristan Gilstrap, Cole Ledbetter and fiancé Lauren Pate, Kimberly and her husband Nick Bachmann, Issac Stebens and his wife Madisyn, Nathan Stebens, Angela and her husband Robby Saul, Amber and her husband Rene Perez II, Great grandchildren Parker, Emmitt, Chole, Wyatt, Piper, Gunner, Eloise, Noah, Rene, Alyssa, Julian, Brody, Hadley, and Blakely, whose lives she touched with her love and warmth. Nephew Scott Miller, James, and Brady Young, nieces Sandy Coast and Bethany Thumann.

A devout Christian, Janie was a member of The First Baptist Church. Her faith was the corner stone of her existence, guiding her in all her endeavors and interactions. Janie owned and operated Marlow Real Estate for many years where she was known for her high level of integrity and honesty. She also served her community for many years as president of the Marlow Chamber of Commerce, where her friendly demeanor and presences were always welcomed.

Janie's interests were a reflection of her love for God's creation and her family. She found joy in being outdoors, whether it was fishing, tending to her garden, walking her beloved pets or simply basking in the beauty of nature. Janie always looked forward to her monthly lunch dates with her dearest high school friends and soon Janie invited her daughter Judy to happily tag along and join in on the fun and gossip. Her home was always open, a place where laughter filled the rooms and every visitor felt like family. Everywhere Janie went she made life long friendships that she dearly cherished.

Described as loving, friendly, and always willing to start a pot of coffee and lend and open ear. Her legacy is one of unwavering love and dedication to her family, her faith, and her community. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Paul Bearers are Caleb Burton, Jake Johnson, Tel Johnson, Kace Johnson, Catch Johnson and Nathan Stebens.

Honorary Paul Bearers are Isaac Stebens, Parker Whitten, Bob Hill and D. B. Green.

Visitation will be Sunday March 15, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.

Services are Monday March 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joe Ligon officiating at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Marlow Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Stephens County Humane Society.
