Donald Wesley Dalton, born on July 5, 1956, in Lewisburg, TN, passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 68.
Donald was known for his hard-headed nature, matched only by his talent and dedication in the masonry industry. He was a dedicated brick mason where his commitment to his work was evident in every structure he helped create. Beyond his profession, Donald cherished the simple joys of life. He was a jokester who loved to share a joke, brightening the day of those around him.
In addition to masonry, Donald had a passion for hobbies that brought him joy. He enjoyed working on model cars, a pastime that allowed his creativity to flourish. He found relaxation in fishing, found camaraderie in playing horseshoes, and took comfort in watching westerns. One of his pursuits was crafting houses out of popsicle sticks, showcasing his unique ability to bring imagination to life.
Donald is survived by his son, Chris Dalton; daughters, Abby Dalton, Carrie Brock, and Misty Dalton; brother, Norman Dalton; sister, Janice Smith; grandchildren, Courtney Dalton, Kayla Dalton, Anyaha Dalton, Kyleigh Dalton, Hannah Dalton, Christian Dalton, Hailee King, Olivia Brock, and Norah Brock; and great grandchild, Everly Dalton-Batte.
He is preceded in death by Johnny and Ruby Mae Brown Dalton; and brothers, Bobby Dalton, Eddie Dalton, Billy "Teddy Bear" Dalton, and Kenny Ray Dalton.
Visitation for Donald will be at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery.
Donald will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and within the walls he so skillfully constructed.
