Donald Dean Dooms, son of Sandy (Hartley) Dooms, and the late Delmar Dooms, was born November 8, 1965, in Davenport, Iowa, and passed away November 12, 2024, at Cox Health in Springfield, Missouri. He was 59 years and 4 days of age.
Donald was raised in Douglas County, Missouri. He married Rachel Filoteo , in Mountain Grove, Missouri on February 14, 2015. Donald spent his entire life as a truck driver and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the guitar, and listening to rock music.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Dooms and one brother, Darren Dooms.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Dooms of Springfield, Missouri, his mother, Sandra Dooms of Davenport, Iowa, one son, Donald Dean Dooms II and one daughter, Desiree Dooms, both of Springfield, Missouri, one brother, Doug Dooms of West Plains, Missouri, one half-brother, Dan Ashby (Rose) of Fruitland, Iowa, two sisters, Rebekah Hillman (Jen) and Angela Willingham all of Davenport, Iowa, one grandchild, Aurora Dooms, and other friends and relatives who will miss him dearly.
