Britty Dell Dooms, 94, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord, March 28, 2025. Britty was born on June 3, 1930, in England, Arkansas, to John Britz Beaver and Gracie Dell Beaver. She met the love of her life Marvin "Bo" Lee Dooms and on July 16, 1948, they were married.
In her earlier years, Britty was a housewife and stay at home mom. Britty worked at Caplinger's store as a seamstress. Britty loved to sew, working in her yard and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church. Britty loved to do the crafts with the children during Vacation Bible School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bo Dooms; her parents, Britz and Dell Beaver; sister, Rachel Beaver; and great granddaughter, Hannah Grace Fletcher.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Alex) Fletcher of Lonoke; she was blessed with three grandchildren, B.A. (Shannon) Fletcher, Nick (Brandi) Fletcher all of Cabot, AR, Scarlett (Ryan) Faulk of Beebe, AR.
Blessed with six great grandchildren, Buzz, Brady, Brantlee, Abi, Lucy Jo and Wesley; brother-in-law, Curtis (Linne Lou) Dooms of Benton, AR; four nieces; and great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00PM on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 31, 2025, at 2:00PM, at Brownsville Baptist Church 44 Watson Rd Lonoke, AR. Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery England, Arkansas. The family requests memorials be made to Brownsville Baptist Church or Lonoke Animal Shelter.
