Donald I. Duckwitz, Jr., (October 8, 2025) was a man cherished by his family and loved by many. Don grew up in Oreland, PA and was a graduate of Springfield Township High School. After high school, he attended Temple University and went on to his career in hospital medical device sales. Don married his high school sweetheart, Susan Duckwitz (nee Beil) and was a devoted husband for 53 years.

He was a proud and loving father to Ryan (Melissa) Duckwitz, Heidi (Matthew) Leone, and Ashley Perez, and found great joy in being "Papa" to his four beloved grandchildren: Emma, Paige, Brady, and Sophie. Don's presence was a steady source of strength and love for all who knew him. Don was a beloved brother-in-law especially close to Jerry and Sally Beil, and Joann and Bruce Stroh, as well as a treasured uncle. He was also a devoted brother to the late Donna Hemphill.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Don's life on Friday, October 17th. Visitation with family from 9:30am followed by a service at 10:30am at Chelten Church of Hope, 1601 N. Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA 19025. Following the service, the family will greet guests at the church from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Interment will be private.

In honor of Don's memory and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Don's legacy of kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to family will live on in the many lives he touched.
