Donald Scott Eib, known affectionately as Scott to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Knoxville. Born on April 13, 1976, in Indiana, Scott was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him. His unwavering faith, loving nature, and friendly demeanor defined his 49 years of life.

Preceded in death by his Grandparents and Sister. Scott leaves behind a loving wife Sarah Eib, Mother Becky and her husband Dennis Carmack, Father Mick and wife Tonya Eib, Children Layla Eib,Tristan Bryant, Skylar and wife Destiny Dickey, Aaron Jent and Carly Eib.

Throughout his life, Scott was known for his generous spirit and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His laughter was contagious, and he had a talent for making everyone around him feel valued and loved. Scott's presence was a source of comfort and joy to many, and his legacy of love and friendship will continue to resonate with those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

In his personal life, Scott was an embodiment of what it means to be faith-filled. He was an active member of his church The Harbor, a loving husband, father and son. His commitment to his faith was evident in the way he lived every day, always striving to act with compassion and empathy towards others.

Scott's impact on his friends and family was profound, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He lived a life that was full of love, laughter, and genuine connections. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the remarkable man he was-a true testament to the power of living a life anchored in love, friendship, and faith.

As we say goodbye to Donald Scott Eib, we hold onto the cherished memories he leaves behind. His spirit will forever be a guiding light in the lives of his loved ones. Scott's journey on earth has concluded, but the values he upheld and the love he shared will continue to inspire and uplift us all. Rest in peace, dear Scott, until we meet again.

The family will received friends Friday, August 29, 2025, from 6:00pm-7:00pm at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel with a service to follow from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Eib family and invites you to view and sign the online registry.
