Donald O. Frigon

Uxbridge - Donald O. Frigon, aged 66, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2024, in Uxbridge, MA. Born on April 26, 1958, in Providence, RI, to Irene Frigon (Beausoleil) of Woonsocket, RI and the late Normand H. Frigon, Donald's life was one marked by devotion to his family, a passion for the great outdoors, and a career that reflected his hardworking and dedicated nature.
Donald grew up in Woonsocket. After completing his education, he embarked on a fulfilling career with Praxair, where he dedicated many years before retiring. Not one to settle into idleness, Donald continued to work at NETA in Franklin, a role that kept him engaged and active within the community.
Donald's heart found its truest joy in the company of his beloved wife, Carol A. Frigon (Chasse), with whom he shared countless adventures. Together, they explored the country in an RV, creating memories that Donald would hold dear long after Carol's passing in 2015. His love for the outdoors extended to fishing and camping, activities that brought him tranquility and happiness.
A compassionate soul, Donald's love for animals was evident to all who knew him. He extended kindness and care to all creatures great and small, touching the lives of many four-legged friends throughout his lifetime.
The role that brought Donald the most pride and fulfillment was that of a family man. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth D. Bijesse, and her husband Joseph. Donald's legacy continues through his grandson, Connor Bijesse, with whom he shared a special bond and countless cherished moments. His mother, Irene Frigon, of Woonsocket, will remember her son with love and pride, as will his brother, Normand Frigon and his wife Barbara of Maine.
