Donald F. Gajdek

Donald F. Gajdek, 91, of North Huntingdon, passed peacefully on November 19, 2025, in Monroeville. He was born August 13, 1934, in McKeesport, to the late Frank and Anna (Kanaval) Gajdek. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Donald is survived by his cousin, David Sedlak, along with extended family and friends. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Donald obtained computer training and lifelong skills during his time in the service. Throughout his career, he worked for Paramount Studios, Max Factor, Columbia Savings & Loan Association, and Consol Coal Company. He was a graduate of Thiel College, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Donald was passionate about model trains and was actively involved in train hobbies and shows, where he enjoyed helping and sharing his enthusiasm with others. He also loved traveling and was a dedicated member of the Ride & Hunt Club. A lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, Donald cheered for his hometown teams with pride. Friends will be received on Monday from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 Noon at Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. Burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
