Donald Golden Obituary
Mr. Golden was born on June 18, 1967, in Savannah to the late Donald Thomson Golden, Sr., and Susan Roberts Golden. Known to friends as Donny, he attended St. James School (K–8) and played football for Benedictine Military School and Memorial Day School. He graduated from Windsor Forest High School, Class of 1986.
Donny worked a number of jobs throughout his life, including positions with the Port Authority and Spanky's, before concluding his career performing maintenance work for his father's company, Golden Properties.
Above all else, Donny cherished his friends and family. He is survived by his mother, Susan Roberts Golden; his brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Veronica Golden; his niece and nephew, Kayleigh Golden and Peyton Golden; his aunt and uncle, Sharon and Gary Mitchell; his uncle, Hugh Golden; and a host of cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery, 1600 Wheaton Street, Savannah, GA 31404.
