Don was born on September 20, 1954, in Howell, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merwin and Myrtle (Knight) Hall, and his brother, Michael Hall. Don is survived by his sons, Donald Hall Jr. and Ryan Hall; his grandson, Henry Hall; his sisters, Carol Peterson and Tracy Mrozek; and many nieces and nephews.
Don was a retired Captain with the Brighton Area Fire Department, where he served his community for 50 years. He was also a Paramedic with Livingston County EMS (1979–1983) and the Fire Chief at the GM Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan (1983–1995).
A service will be held on November 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brighton Fire Hall.

Don Hall was a mentor of mine within Brighton Fire department. I am sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers with his family. " Till we meet again" We´ll take it from here Chief!"
