Donald A. Hamilton

Donald A. Hamilton, 79, of Meadow Lands, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Southwestern Veterans Center, Pittsburgh. He was born October 21, 1946, a son of the late Clair and Doris Mountford Hamilton. Don was a 1964 graduate of Trinity High School and attended West Virginia State College in Charleston, W.Va. He had worked as a parts manager for South Hill Chrysler in McMurray, Burgunder Dodge in Bridgeville and Elm Grove Dodge in Elm Grove, W.Va., as well as the NAPA store in Claysville. Mr. Hamilton was a member of Chartiers Lodge #297 Free & Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh and Syria Shrine. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed landscaping and taking care of his dogs. Surviving are two sons, Ian A. Hamilton (Kristen) of Morristown, N.J., and Timothy D. Hamilton of Meadow Lands; two grandchildren, Leo and Max Hamilton; a sister, Jean Dormo (Paul, deceased) of Bentleyville; a brother, Robert Hamilton (Noreen) of The Villages, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a brother, James Hamilton, is deceased. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, January 17, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K.
