Donald Dwight Hodges, 75 of Baldwin, passed from this life on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Haven Custead Care Hospice Center. Donald was born in Glen St. Mary, on July 28, 1950 to Mr. Everett Ray and Joyce Starling Hodges. Donald was a skilled carpet installer and worked in that field for over forty years. He enjoyed spending his free time “going for a ride” and traveling. He also enjoyed going to concerts and wrestling. His greatest joy in life, was being a grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Glenn Hodges and Wanda Hodges; and his wife, Mrs. Jackie Ludding.
He is survived by his children, Amy (Clark) Williams of Rockledge, Larry (Jan) Hodges and Lisa (Darrell) Henn both of Fernandina, and Donnie (Susan) Hodges of St. Mary’s, Georgia; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Brenda (John) Farrell of Orange Park, and Terri (Terry) Iverson and Carolyn (John) Jackson both of Jacksonville; as well as an aunt, Bonita Kauffman of Macclenny.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
