Donald R. "Don" Huffman, 78, of Oil City, went to his Heavenly Home to be with his wife, parents, and brother on Friday, January 9, 2026. He passed at his home of natural causes.

He was born in Emlenton on April 23, 1947 to the late Wallace and Ruth Eileen (Fowler) Huffman.

He was a 1966 graduate of Cranberry High School. He then served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 through 1970.

Don was a member of the Franklin and Oil City V.F.W.

He attended the Seneca Evangelical Congregational Church.

Don enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and woodworking.

He was employed by Continental Can Company, Pizza Hut, and retired from United Refining as an assistant manager at KwikFill.

He was married in Franklin to Peggy (Harvey), and she preceded him in death in 2014.

Don is survived by a step-daughter, Crystal Hayden and her husband Cory and their son Oakley; a brother, Harry Huffman and wife Sharon of Seneca; a sister, Ruby Haupt and husband Richard of Rockland; a sister-in-law, Delores Huffman of Seneca; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Huffman.

There will be no visitation or service held, per his wishes.

Private funeral arrangements are being completed by Hile-Best Funeral Home in Seneca.
