Donald Leroy Lacy, Jr., 76, husband of Toni Montoney Lacy, died Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at his home.
Born in Columbus, OH, he was a son of the late Donald L. Lacy, Sr. and Irene Vivian Dupont Lacy.
Mr. Lacy was a member of Christ Community Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran of Vietnam. Don had many accomplishments to his name. He worked as a roofer for 15 years and as an electrician for 35 years. He was blessed to work for the church as an electrician and handyman. He was happiest when he was with Toni and with God in his life. He loved to help people. He loved traveling, bowling and riding his motorcycle.
Surviving is his wife; two brothers, Lou Slowek and Alan Lacy; two sisters, Shirley Romine (Bill) and Brenda Lacy Adkins; a son, Danny Ray Lacy (Linda); two nieces, Michelle Curry and Melissa Bland; along with various other nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Friday at Christ Community Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. Friday at Christ Community Church.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to any dog shelter.
