Raymond P. Pritchard, Jr., 68, died Sunday, September 28, 2025, at his home.

Born May 3, 1957, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Raymond P. Pritchard, Sr., and the late Jean Player Phillips. He worked in auto body repair with Dick Deyer Mercedes-Benz.

Survivors include two sons, Lee Phillips (Christal) of Elgin, and Kirt Pritchard of Manning; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, John Pritchard (Ruth Ann) of Sumter; one sister, Gwyn Norris of Sumter; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Teri Levy, and Tessi "Tweetybird" Leonard.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
