Donald Long Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Born on April 11, 1955, Donald was the son of the late Donald Wilbur, Sr. and Hermine (Grabher) Long. His career as a skilled industrial mechanic spanned over many decades.
Donald had a strong love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He also loved riding his motorcycle and could often be found tinkering with tools, fixing whatever needed repair.
On October 11, 1986 in Chappaqua, Donald married Donna (Squeo) Long who survives at home after 39 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Amanda and Kevin Drennan of Fishkill, Matthew and Amanda Long of East Fishkill, Brian and Stefanie Long of East Fishkill, and Michael and Elizabeth "Colby" Long of Chevy Chase, MD; his grandchildren, Lauren, Madeleine, Mackenzie, Hailey, and Thomas; his sisters, Barbara Bowden and her husband Artie, Virginia Obranovich and her husband Richard, and Susan Lavender; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 30th from 2 -5 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, December 1st at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery.
Donations may be made in memory of Donald to Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Please visit his Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
