Donald Winfred Mack

Donald Winfred Mack, 83, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at his residence.
He was born September 28, 1941, in Hot Springs, Virginia, the son of the late William Mack and Montie Prudence Lemon Mack.
Mr. Mack retired from the Homestead Resort as a pool attendant at the Warm Springs Pools. He was an active member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf. A kind person who was a friend to all.
On September 23, 1979, he married the love of his life, Phyllis Braxton, who preceded him in death on December 24, 2015.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William H. Mack.
A Celebration of His Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Reverend W. Ed Mansfield officiating. Interment will be in Pinehurst Cemetery, weather permitting.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the church.
