Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc.It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald "Todd" McCall, bookish and armchair expert on virtually every subject. Todd was born on October 12, 1968 and passed away March 22, 2026. Through his journey of 57 years Todd had a rich inner world populated by everything fantasy and science fiction. This world was the playground for those who campaigned with him as a Dungeon Master.
Todd read thousands of books over the course of his life and could easily enumerate details even years later. His interest in books and libraries led him to earn his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at SUNY Oswego and his Master's in Library Science from Syracuse University.
His introverted nature often meant he was a wallflower at the few functions he would reluctantly attend; however, his presence will be missed.
Todd will be reunited with family that have passed before him especially his beloved mother Phyllis Mae Brown.
He is survived by his father Donald McCall, brothers Greg McCall and Douglas [Stephanie] McCall, nieces Vienna and Ellone, aunts and uncles, many cousins including his lifelong best friend and cousin Christa Deacy-Quinn [Jason].
Services will be at Grace Episcopal Church in Baldwinsville at 11 am on Saturday June 27, 2026.
The family requests that no flowers be given and any contributions be made to the Baldwinsville Public Library in his name.
