Donald Gray Murray, 87, of Kenly passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2024, in Mount Zion OFW Baptist Church Cemetery, Johnson Farm Road, Kenly. Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Laverne Murray; sons, Bobby Glenn Murray, and Donald Keith Murray and wife, Lynn; granddaughters, Michelle Peedin and husband, Jacob, and Lauren Murray; grandson, Brandon Murray and wife, Harley; great-grandson, Dylan Peedin; sister, Margaret Batten, and his brother, Wilbert Murray and wife, Mary Ellen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elvie Murray, and his brother, James Murray.
