Donald William Murray

Donald William Murray, longtime resident of Oradell, passed away surrounded by his family on December 9, 2025, at the age of 68.
Born on January 19, 1957, to Daniel and Irene Murray, Donald was one of five children. He met the love of his life, Lori, at the Jersey Shore in Belmar a place that will always carry special memories for them. After marrying, their family grew with the incredible blessing of two sets of twin boys, who became his greatest joy.
An avid lifelong Mets and Jets fan; he never missed a chance to cheer on his favorite teams. His enthusiasm for sports passed down to his sons, and he could always be found on the sidelines, coaching many of their teams and supporting them in every endeavor.
Guided by his deep faith, Donald was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Oradell.
Don was greeted in heaven by his parents.
He is survived by his beloved wife Lori Murray and their sons Daniel, Christopher, Matthew, and Jack. Dear brother of Rich, Debbie, Bobby and Danny. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Donald will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are welcome at Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell on Sunday, December 14th from 3-7PM. A mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 300 Elm Street in Oradell on Monday, December 15th at 10AM. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his memory to St. Joseph R.C. Church in Oradell.
