Donald J. Ohlsson, 71, of Frankfort, died Friday afternoon, December 27, 2024, at Embassy Valley View Alzheimer's Care Cener, Frankfort. He was born on March 7, 1953, in Long Island, New York, a son of the late Kurt Sven and Mary Stewart Ohlsson.
He is survived by his two sons, Sven Ohlsson and Kyle Ohlsson, two grandchildren, Samuel Ohlsson, and Dean Ohlsson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sven Ohlsson, and Eric Ohlsson.
After graduating high school, Donald served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He also worked as a cabinet maker and as a luthier, a maker of string wooden instruments. In connection with making instruments, Donald enjoyed playing music.
A funeral service for Donald will be held at the convenience of his family. He will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Those wishing to share a memory of Donald may sign his online register
