Donald Pappalardo Obituary
Donald was married to MaryLou Pappalardo (1939 – 2024) and will be deeply missed by his children, David S. Pappalardo of Methuen, Robyn A. Harb and Richard J. Harb of Middleton, MA., and Donald F. Pappalardo, Jr. (1960 – 2022). In addition to his children, he was the beloved grandfather to Olivia M. Pappalardo and Derek J. Pappalardo.
Donald was the son of Frank Pappalardo and Lilian (Bugler) Pappalardo of Methuen. He leaves his brother Robert Pappalardo of Florida and was predeceased by his sister Sandra J. Pappalardo of Methuen, MA and his brother Frank Pappalardo of Nahant, MA.
Donald was a graduate of Lawrence High School and was a longtime resident of Methuen, MA. He was a retired Lawrence Police Officer and a Korean War veteran. As a Lawrence Police officer for over 35 years, "Pappy" was well known and liked by everyone he knew. He loved to joke around and basically "busting chops" was always expected. A good laugh was a guarantee.
Don was always with his beloved MaryLou and since her passing in Oct, 2024 he has not been the same. He just kept saying he wants to be with his wife. Anyone who knew Pappy knows she was the love of his life and is just lost without her by his side.
We know he is in a better place and is so happy to be with his wife again.
