Donald 'Don' Victor Pfeifer
April 14, 1931 - Nov. 3, 2021
Donald "Don" Victor Pfeifer was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, businessman, and friend.
He passed away peacefully at his home Nov. 3, 2021 with his family by his side.
Don was born to Paul and Adelaide Pfeifer April 14, 1931 in Morland, Kan. The family made their way to Portland via Denver. He graduated Gresham Union High School in 1949 and joined the Air Force in 1950 where he served four years. A decorated vetran, Don was discharged in 1954 with honors. He later graduated college from Portland State University in 1959 with a degree in business, this led him to his career path in Real Estate.
In 1958 he met his wife Virginia "Jeannie" McKenna through the Chancellor's Club and they were married June 27, 1959, she remained the love of his life until her passing June 19, 2021.
Don was an avid golfer and sports fan. He enjoyed time spent with his family. He was also an active member of the Catholic Church, participating in the parish council and the Eucharistic Ministry. He will be greatly missed.
A service will be held for Don Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Milwaukie, Ore. Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m., with the funeral Mass following at 11 a.m.
Don is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Joe) Pointer; son, Kevin (Cindy) Pfeifer; daughter, Janet Pfeifer; eight grandchildren, Rian, Brandon (Jenny), Courtney (Earl), Jacob (Lindsey), Sarah (Terrell), Aila (Chris), Anna (Forrest), Jace; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Sylvia Wallis.

don's since 1949, including high school, Korean war, college and many golf rounds. He was a man among men and will be sorely missed.
