John Pfeifer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boston Cremation - Malden Care Center on Feb. 27, 2026.
John Edward Pfeifer, known affectionately as Eddie by his loved ones, passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 66 in Lincoln, Massachusetts, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 3, 1959 in Winthrop, Massachusetts, Eddie was a beacon of generosity, kindness, and love throughout his life.

Eddie was the beloved son of Patricia Pfeifer and the late John (Fife) Pfeifer Sr. He grew up in a vibrant household alongside his siblings; his sister Debbie Bolognese and brother-in-law Paul, sister Patricia Pfeifer, late brother Brian, sister Carol Oliver and brother-in-law James, and sister Allison Braswell and brother-in-law Thomas. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

A proud graduate of East Boston High School, Eddie was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He spent many years as a longshoreman, where he formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of his colleagues. His involvement in his work community was a testament to his commitment to service.

Eddie will be deeply missed by his daughter Dominique DeDominicis, and his son John Pfeifer, and daughter Kelly Pfeifer. He was a grandfather to Natalia, Cassandra, and Savannah. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A man of immense heart, Eddie's generosity extended beyond his family. He touched the lives of countless individuals through his kind gestures and loving presence. His ability to make everyone around him feel valued and loved will be a cherished memory for all.

As we bid farewell to Eddie, we reflect on a life well-lived, a journey marked by unwavering love, boundless kindness, and a generosity that knew no bounds. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and a family that will continue to honor his memory by living out the values he held dear.

Rest in peace, dear Eddie. Your memory will forever be a blessing to us all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
