John F. "Jack" Cataldo, of Hudson, NH, formerly of Everett, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 89 years old.

Jack, as he was affectionately known, was the beloved husband of the late Beverly J. (Nilson) Cataldo with whom he shared 69 years of marriage prior to her passing on May 17, 2024.

He was born in Winthrop on July 6, 1936 and was the son of the late Albert P. and Dorothy R. (O'Toole) Cataldo. He was raised and educated in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School, Class of 1954.

While living in East Boston, Jack met his wife Beverly during their teenage years. They were married on New Year's Eve in 1955, and together they moved to Everett where they raised their three children. They were longtime residents of Everett for over 40 years until moving to Hudson, New Hampshire, where he has been living for the past 24 years. Jack dedicated himself to providing for his family. He worked as a Service Operations Manager at Harvard University for many years until the time of his retirement. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is the devoted father of John Cataldo and his wife Denise of Tyngsboro, William "Bill" Cataldo and his late wife Caroline of Reading, and Robert "Bob" Cataldo and his wife Lisa of Melrose. Cherished grandfather of Matt, Bill, Molly, Allie, Marissa and Daniela. Adored great-grandfather of Violet, Nora, Hailey, Ella, Billy, Emmy, Henry and Jack. Dear Brother of Barbara Cataldo of East Boston, and is predeceased by his brothers Albert Cataldo, Lawrence Cataldo and Eugene Cataldo and his sister Dorothy Cataldo. He is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
