William G. Clark

William G. Clark passed peacefully on February 3rd, 2026

Predeceased by mother Lillian Urquhart Clark and father George Clark Sister; Genevieve Clark Stedman, and Brothers; Walter (Twin brother), George, Raymond, Charles, and Warren.

Survived by several nieces and nephews.

William's love of music began at a young age. By the time he graduated from high school, he was an accomplished musician

playing the piano, trumpet and the drums.

During WWII he served as an MUS3, and played many USO shows for the troops overseas. After his discharge from the Navy, he came

home to Lawrence, and then became a high school English teacher on Long Island, NY.

William was a long-time member of a band that played jazz music at local clubs on weekends. He would also share his love of music at family gatherings,

by playing piano, while family members sang along.

For nearly a century, William brought music, laughter, and warmth to all who knew him-a life well-lived and deeply cherished.

William will be interred later this year at the Veteran's cemetery in Winchendon, Mass.
