Anna Sue Clark, age 85, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Sikeston, Missouri.

Sue was born on August 23, 1940, in Pondertown (presently Deering, MO), to the late Fronie Inez Bowling of Caruthersville, MO, and Howard Adams (Walls) of Bradenton, FL.

She graduated valedictorian of her high school class, and held an Associates Degree in Accounting from Mississippi County Community College (Arkansas Northeastern College). She competed additional course work in Engineering at Dyersburg State Community College.

Sue worked at the Colson Corporation as an Accountant and later became Plant Manager. She subsequently worked as a Claims Technician with Missouri Employment Security and later as a Supervisor at the Missouri Division of Social Services – Child Enforcement.

On May 7,1959, at the Wesleyan Church in Caruthersville, MO, Sue married Noble Clark (of Caruthersville). He was the son of Vanus and Sallie Clark. Sue & Noble celebrated 60 years of marriage, before Noble's passing.

Sue is survived by one son: Gary Clark; a daughter-in-law: Carol Clark; two grandchildren: John Clark of Dexter, MO, & Christina Clark of Sikeston, MO. Also surviving is one sister: Shelbie Kaye Bowling-Scott (Ricky) of Savannah, TN; her aunt: Ava Cleveland in LA; her cousin: Janet Spencer (Earl) of Kennett, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters

– Jessica Adams Hoovler, Thomas Adams, Wayne Adams, Claude Neal Adams, Juanita Joyce Adams, and baby girl Adams.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 12 noon until time of memorial services at 1 pm at the Wesleyan Church of Caruthersville, MO. Pastor Kenny Lee will officiate.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
