Eleanor Ann Harrison

Eleanor Ann Harrison, 67, of East Boston, passed away on February 16, 2026. Born in Boston on April 11, 1958, she was the beloved daughter of Leonard McCormick and Lorraine Sweeney.

Eleanor dedicated many years of service to the City of Boston as a parking enforcement officer, where she carried out her work with pride. She was known for her willingness to help others whenever she could. She found joy in keeping a tidy home and spending time with friends and family, especially gathering with her siblings. Eleanor had a natural ability to look for the bright side of any situation and encouraged those around her to do the same. Her laughter, warmth, and positivity were defining qualities that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her siblings Margaret, Robert, Billy, Kathy, Colleen, David, Mark, and Michael; her children, Kirk and Tim; and her cherished grandchildren, Jake, Megan, Tess, Charlie, and Nico.

A viewing and prayer ceremony will be held at Boston Cremation (287 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148) on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Eleanor's love for her family and her enduring optimism will remain her lasting legacy.
